I’ve built this Honda cr 500 AF SM
it’s a 1986 cr engine in a Honda crf450 2013-17 chassis.

I’ve spent around £13000 on this build.

I’m still finishing it off waiting for the lectron carb to come. I’ve had it stared on a pwk carb and it’s crisp.

It’s had all the newest parts fitted to make it a SM race bike but it has a dating certificate with the new engine numbers ameded by Honda so it’s ready to get an mot once it’s ready.


It’s got a HRC ratio billet gearbox by micozzie in Italy
Msv billet race exhaust port
Decompression valve fitted to head.
40mm lectron carb.
Barrel sent to langcourt for honing and sized piston at +1mm (99mm I believe)
Msv racing adjustable stator ‘friaday’ +/- 7* degrees with high voltage coil.
Very rare flywheel **RARE AS ROCKING HORSE SHTE**
2001 clutch side case fitted with appropriate custom cooling pipe fitted.
Msv billet clutch and stator covers.

SM gold talon hubs and excel black rims

Oversized billet front caliper and disc.

Carbon belly pan and fork guards, swing arm carbon covers.

A LOT of time and effort gone into sanding prep and polishing the frame. And subframe.

New frame and tank and seats rubbers.

Oversized enduro clear tank..

+20mm seat foam and gripper seat.

Standard rear caliper.

Billet pegs.

New black panels.

All the cp500 components like air filter boot and carb boot with a professional fabricator tog welder to fit all the parts to frame.

Full dep pipe (expansion chamber needs painting, awaiting end of holidays for this)

Oversized radiators fitted.

Xtrig red fork clamps and bar mounts.
