Description:
Volkswagen transporter 2.5 TDI swb, part camper, 1998 r reg, not much to say pretty basic van, carpeted rear, rock and roll bed in back, got mot till August or September 2025.
Starts/drives/stops/performs fine, does drive fine etc, full of power, starts first time etc, old used van not new.
I took it in a deal, have no use for it just sat there not used.
It runs and drives etc, I will be upfront and list a few possibilities I think may want looking into. I think the radiator fan does not come on? Possible wants a good coolant flush/bleed or air lock in system? Thermostat? Maybe a dodgy coolant cap as can see residue of over flow, water is still in coolant bottle. Due to the fact it’s been sat not used for a good number of months it could do with a full service etc also I don’t know when it was last done. Oil and coolant levels are fine.
It’s not a rotten example, good solid van all around you’ll be surprised.
