Description:
Discovery 3 2.7 TDV6
ex highways vehicle, which I have been using as part of my vehicle breakdown business.
It's fitted with
Self made rear racking (designed to still allow access to spare wheel)
Ecco vantage roof beacon bar
Front and rear low level Amber's
Rear alternating red lights (these are the fog lights, but still work correctly as fog lights)
It's fitted with a 13500lb TERRAFIRMA front winch and Terrafirma hidden winch tray and number plate mount.
It's also got a jump start point on the front.
It runs fine and is used daily.
It can come as is, or stripped back to a normal car. This has been a working vehicle on the motorways all it's life.
I've had it 3 years now and it's had some work done, but most recently I've done the rear upper and lower rose joint bushes. (Most garages won't even dream of touching them)
Timing belt was done 60k ago, but will be done again before it goes.
I replaced all the brakes last year and noticed the rear calipers where getting ready to change so I've got new ones for them too (the old ones still work perfectly fine)
Both front wheel bearings have been done end of last year.
It's just had a full new set of Comforser mud terrain tyres.
I did the rear toe links too as they was looking a bit crusty, Naturally the 4 wheel alignment was also done too.
Egr blanking kit fitted
Factory fitted reinforced tow bar
The current main issue on it is the park brake needs resetting. When I replaced the brakes the thickness altered on the internal drums which upsets the park brake setting. Plenty of videos on YouTube if you want to see what I'm talking about. If I get enough time I'll sort it. But as it's auto it's never caused an issue.
Looking to swap for a new shape transit connect, 2014+ only
