Description:

It's a 535D e60 lci (facelift version).
It's had;
●New thermostat
●Dpf delete
●Swirl flap delete
●EGR and cooler delete
●19" Tiger claw alloys (genuine bmw x5 wheels)
●Brand new tyres all round about 2 months ago
●spacers all round to suit new wheels
●New x6 bosch glowplugs
●New glow plug module-Hitachi
●New genuine bmw glow plug power cable
●When I had the intake manifold off to fit the glowplugs I cleaned the intake and fitted new seals.
● replacement top elbow that goes into throttle body with a genuine bmw one and genuine gasket
●twin dual exhaust M5 style
●gearbox service using genuine ZF parts including mechtronic sleeves and harness seal, zf fluid and zf pan and filter.
●I've started putting blue silicone boost hoses on to smarten the engine bay up
●blue silicone vacuum hoses
● I've got a new air filter in the boot to put in today or tomorrow
●replacement wiper arm linkage it's a common fault they snap
●I've repaired the boot wiring loom, again another common problem for these cars which stops the boot closing.
●rare colour- it's called mondstein (moonstone in English) it's silver with a gold/yellow pearl when the sun hits it, instead of the regular titan silver which is just metallic silver... I can't find another one this colour for sale at the moment.
●literally just clocked 200k miles yesterday
●paddle shift with sport/cobra gearbox
●legendary M57 engine if you know bmws this is the most reliable engine they made 6 cylinder with a timing chain that lasts forever it was used in older range rovers as well.
●2 keys plus the plastic valet key in glovebox
●full logbook in my name

Niggling bits;
●parking sensors have always worked when I've had it but stopped about a month ago for some reason -I haven't looked into it yet

●oil level sensor doesn't work, it did for about a week when I got it but stopped for whatever reason, I bought a brand new febi bilstein one (cost about £80) and fitted it when I changed the oil but this didn't cure the fault. I've asked on the forum and apparently these cars only like genuine sensors so I was going to try a used one from a respected breaker when I change the oil next. With this fault you can't reset the service reminder light even though it's serviced. There is a dipstick in the engine bay to check the oil level though.

●there is an outstanding recall on the car for a battery cable this is totally free from bmw

●every now and again there is a slight creak from offside top mount but there is a genuine bmw one in the boot to go on.

I use my car every day and commute 50 miles a day 5 days a week to work and it's never missed a beat. Good on fuel a full tank gives around 530 miles
